Beginning from Bulbasaur Version, my first named script version, I'm giving all of you the chance to request features for my script. I can't possibly implement every request that is made in a short time period however, and I can't at all if it is simply not possible. So with that in mind, I've decided to allow members of the Pokemon Perfect community to request three features for each version of the script - one each for the following categories: host features, auth features and user features. In order to select which three will make it in the next version, we'll have a vote as a community in a separate thread.

In this thread, if you want to submit a request to be voted on, you must simply state the category and a description of the feature you want. If I don't understand it, I'll ask for clarification. If I either don't think it's possible or that it would require excessive effort to implement, I will say so and the request will not be approved for voting. There is no limit to the number of requests you can submit.

So with no further ado, I'll give an example of a request.

Category: Host Feature
Description: Option to make use of /eval only be seen by the user using it.

Also, feel free to query anything in this first post. I will adapt anything if it is not clear enough.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing a you could say a /sendall command that users use to message only auth

Also for fun maybye a /lol command that makes everyone say lol Very Happy (for auth that is)

So:

Category User
Defenition a command that sends a message only to auth

Well...

Auth: Silent kicks! I know that being an auth I wanted them SOOO bad, and this is why:

x: [trolling obviously]
Batl Skard kicked person x from the server!
y: Why did you kick them? They weren't doing anything wrong!
z: Yeah, why'd you do that?
Batl Skard: Read the rules please...he was trolling.

That changes to:

x: trolling
Batl Skard has silently kicked person x from the server <- only auth can see that message
y: Where did x go O_o

and problem avoided.

Now, you shouldn't have to answer to users anyway, but still. Sometimes it's just easier to kick without them knowing.

Now, for users, a /stats feature.

This would show people thier team, thier wins/losses, and percentage of wins to total battles. Ex.

Batl Skard: /stats
Wins: 7
Losses:3
Win percentage: 70%

That could go vertical or horizontal, Coders choice Wink Now, I'd like it to be tracked per username or per team. I don't know how you would track it per team with coding, but it's been done before to track by name, as opposed to IP. if you threw in a /statsip, you could get all wins/losses on that IP, effectively meaning your total win/loss across all names and teams. Note: for making it track wins per team without attributing the coding to a team based nature, we could simply change the name of the alt to something that hasn't been used, and the counter resets if it's tracked by name.

Also, as a personal interest, I'd appreciate it if coding for Pokemon were listed underneath/after with pokemon KOed while they were out. Ex -

I have Mankey out on your Pichu. I ko it in battle. My Charmander in reserve didn't battle.

Batl Skard: /stats
Wins: 1
Losses:0
Win Percentage: 100%
Mankey's Knockouts: 1
Charmanders Knockouts: 0

It's asking a bit much I know. I don't know if you can do that, but even the wins/losses part would be appreciated. I like not marking everything down as I go xD. And if none of that is too much, another small thing could be changing

Mankey's Knockouts: 1 to Mankey's Knockouts/Appearances: 1/1

Where Mankey's KOs is how many KOs it got to it's Appearances, where it actually got used in battle. This way if you never need something, or if it isn't clear how much it's KOes actually become crucial, you have it apparant with one command. Great for benefiting people trying to improve thier game. But it's a huge task too xD.

So yeah, the TL;DR part is underneath.

Auths -> /silentkick
Lets ONLY auth see when someone is kicked using that command.

Users -> /Stats
Allows the user to analyse thier wins, losses, percentage, and potentially Pokemon performance.

ok, well for the /silentkick, there's already a command but it doesn't notify auth. It's an ownercommand because with the GUI commands which are built into the program, you can only silent kick on the server window (not on the client). So what changes are you putting forward?

As far as the stats go, I don't think it's currently possible to obtain information on what pokemon faint in a match. But wins, losses and win percentage is pretty straight forward. It can be recorded by team fairly easily because you can just assign a number to every aspect of the team, like pokemon, items, moves etc and then end up with a string of numbers representing that unique team. So I'll add that as approved for voting on.

For the Silentkick, I would propose making that available to auth without using the server window, but instead using the client.

I was afraid of that, but at least I get a chance for my /stats back :3.

It is a command available to the client via the server: "/silentkick". I can't create GUI commands though. That would require client scripts which don't exist.

So, having to do with scripts and such, I have a possible suggestion?

Well, I forgot my first suggestion, but what about different types of tournaments, such as set ups? Things such as Swiss/Round Robi Tournaments I wouldn't suggest, because a large amount of people in each category would prove to show a long, dragging tournament that, more often than not, would not be completed.

I was thinking more things like Double and/or triple elimination. I've always heard/seen people talking about having the chance at getting third and fourth place, ya know? Just seems like a good idea to me, lol.
